The Big Dance of Kenosha Bars: The Finals Are Set

A 6 Seed and a 15 Seed To Play For The Title

2020 Big Dance of Kenosha Bars

Final 4 Game 1

Cheers (6) def Swedish American (7) 85-82 in the first game of the day.  This small neighborhood bar on Kenosha’s northeast side has been amazingly consistent in this tournament.  They have defeated Fec’s, TG’s, Coins, The Port and Swedish American en route to the finals.  They have won close games and they have won blowouts.  They have won as a favorite and won as a dog.  It has been a “by any means necessary” for this classic KTown watering hole.  Cheers to Cheers…no way I thought you’d be here..congrats.

Final 4 Game 2

There were two story lines involved in the Kenosha Tap (15) victory over Uncle Mike’s Highway Pub (10) by a final of 87-68.  The first story line was obviously the No 15 seed Kenosha Tap team just continuing the upset assault.  Five straight games as a dog, five straight W’s. And the second story line would be the high scoring Mike’s squad finally missing some shots and not hanging 90 points plus. Our Kenosha Tap to the finals with wins over The 5th, The Garage, Rose’s/Lotus, Scotty’s and Mike’s. Post card example of a classic corner bar.
