What should people know about you that they can’t see on your videos?
If you can’t tell already, I like to motivate and inspire youth to get up and chase their dreams and not just sit around. Don’t ever “settle”.
Do you even remember when you first made it to 100,000 followers on Instagram?
I do remember..I was super excited and freakin’ out but I knew I had to work even harder if I wanted to keep growing and increasing my followers.
How many shots/takes on average does it take to get one of those amazing shots to fall?
It can range anywhere between 10 and a 100 depending on the difficulty of the shot. The best part is we are always having a great time doing them and even after 100 tries it is totally worth the effort.
What was the “big break” moment thus far in gaining so many social media followers?
I jumped from 30,000 followers to 100,000 followers in 5 days because I posted two videos back to back on March 7th and March 8th of this year. They both were kind of catchy and crazy and got picked up by a lot of big time sports pages.
Do you ever go practice and not have the camera rolling?
Of course..all the time. The only time the camera is rolling if when I plan to put out a new video
What was the funniest “hater” comment you have seen so far?
I’ve been told to kill myself, I’ve been told I suck. One of my favorites is that I should stop trying to act black. You name it, it has been said…I’ve seen everything
Has becoming a social media star changed your life?
Yes, changed for the better. It has given me the opportunity to begin to build my brand with the following I have amassed over the past few years and for that I am extremely grateful and humbled.
Will you ever run out of trick shots?
No, there will always be something. Last week I was like “shit, I can’t think of anything” and then I saw the skateboard in my car and the next thing ya know, I got a new video.
